Premier Thermal COVID-19 Statement

Premier Thermal, through its Al-Fe Heat Treating, Atmosphere Annealing, & NitroSteel divisions, plans to continue to operate in support of our customers that are supplying essential products to a variety of industries including Aerospace, Agriculture, Defense, Energy, Food, Transportation, and Medical.  As always, our first priority is health and safety and to that end, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken extra precautions at all of our locations.

Cleanliness and Working Conditions

  • We are supplying hand soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant sprays and wipes throughout work areas and common spaces in all of our facilities. We are also continuing to have our facilities professionally cleaned on a regular basis with an emphasis on disinfection efforts.
  • Each employee is required to complete a questionnaire daily, prior to allowing them to work, including questions regarding COVID-19 related symptoms and possible exposure.
  • Signage throughout the plant reminding employees of expectations regarding strict adherence to 6 ft. Social Distancing as well as the sanitizing of work areas, common areas, high touch areas, etc.
  • Employees capable of working remotely are required to do so utilizing video and teleconferencing when needed.
  • Employees are required to stay home if he/she displays symptoms or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or any other contagious illness.
  • Training has been provided to all employees regarding COVID-19 symptoms & prevention, cleaning tips, and Premier Thermal procedures. We continue to update and educate employees as necessary.
  • All business travel has been postponed.

Visitors

  • While we have limited visitors to our plants at this time to essential only, should a supplier or customer visit our facility, they are required to complete a COVID-19 Questionnaire prior to their visit.
  • We are not accepting any unscheduled visits until further notice.
  • All truck drivers are required to remain in their vehicle while onsite.

Operational Continuity

  • Our Senior Leadership team regularly reviews COVID-19 policy changes, shelter in place orders, etc., and provides updates to our employees.
  • Plant Management reviews production schedules throughout the day to immediately communicate any adjustments to our customers.
  • Our Plant Management, Customer Service, and Sales Teams are updating customers regularly on updates from our company.
  • We are in communication with our vendors to ensure critical supplies/processes are available.
