Premier Thermal is a manufacturing company providing products and services primarily to the automotive, heavy truck, energy and agriculture industries.  PT’s customers include OEMs, distributors, forgers and foundries.  PT services its customers through multiple facilities located throughout the Midwestern United States operating 24 hours per day.

Nature and Scope

Are you self-motivated and driven to succeed?  We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support our sales team’s efforts through inbound and outbound sales and marketing initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments through cold calling, email campaigns and marketing events.
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and develop new market segments. Collect and analyze information on specific target markets and competitors, as well as evaluate existing and potential services offered by our company.
  • Research and evaluate current macro- and micro-economic conditions, industry trends, customer surveys, and customer growth that may impact sales. Compile the information and provide forecasting reports to management.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce brand standards, including logos, ads, website, videos, signage, stationary, presentations, print and online efforts.
  • Maintain and grow the organization’s social media presence.
  • Develop and coordinate content for the company website.
  • Assist in website changes, enhancements, and content creation.
  • Organize tradeshows, lunch and learns, and other customer events.
  • Maintain and assist in managing the marketing budget.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience or a sales and marketing internship.
  • Experience with Social Media marketing, specifically LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Proficient with applications and software such as Microsoft Office programs, CRM, & marketing automation programs is required. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team that includes plant personnel, engineering, operations, and sales is a plus.
  • Overnight travel is occasionally required.
