Premier Thermal Solutions, LLC (PTS) is a growing manufacturing company providing products and services primarily to the automotive, heavy truck, energy and agriculture industries.  We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support our sales team’s efforts through inbound and outbound sales and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include research, market studies, cold calling and emailing, and developing and executing marketing campaigns.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns and marketing events.
  • Make outbound contact to potential customers by telephone and email to qualify lead and sell our products and services.
  • Assist sales in scheduling appointments with prospective customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and develop new market segments. Collect and analyze information on specific target markets and competitors, as well as evaluate existing and potential services offered by our company.
  • Conduct analysis and provide forecasting reports to management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Research and evaluate current macro- and micro-economic conditions, industry trends, and customer growth that may impact customer sales.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce brand standards, including logos, ads, website, videos, signage, stationary, presentations, print and online efforts.
  • Maintain and grow the organization’s social media presence.
  • Develop and coordinate content for the company website.
  • Assist in website changes, enhancements, and content creation.
  • Utilize outstanding writing skills to create content for sales and marketing initiatives, including print and digital, as well as press releases, white papers, and customer correspondence.
  • Responsible for the organization and execution of tradeshows, lunch and learns, and other customer events.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of our customer surveys, as well as collecting and documenting results.
  • Monitor analytics and understand trends to improve the overall performance of digital marketing channels through data-driven analyses and reporting.
  • Maintain and assist in managing the marketing budget.
  • Manage supplier relationships with marketing providers.
  • Document all activity in CRM.
  • Act as back-up for Cost Estimator.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communication, or business is required.
  • 1-2 prior experience or a sales and marketing internship is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience with creating engaging content for both print and digital, as well as ROI tracking is required.
  • Experience with Social Media marketing, specifically LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Proficient with applications and software such as Microsoft Office programs, CRM, & marketing automation programs is required. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • The ability for occasional overnight travel is required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team that includes plant personnel, engineering, operations, and sales is a plus.
